In the Anchorage Airport, where I business part-space in the bookstore, I have seen more doubled-strollers being pushed by harried-looking moms than I ever disavow seeing before. One innocent co-blue-collar worker of mine, perusing a current climax of “People Armoury,” said: “How take all these celebrities are having twins? There must be something freakish in the unsound in LA.” I told her that I didn’t recognize about the flood, but I suspected fertility drugs and in vitro among the reasons now accustomed as explanations for what some people see as a rapid rash of multiple births in current years.
