More than 500 victims under 17 years of painfully across the county through the door each year in Suffolk County Child Advocacy Center at La Marie and Pat Bagnato categorize Children (CAC), a facility with the look and feel of a pediatrician's office is designed to expedite investigations and minimize injuries. The small team welcomes everyone here with a smile, a hand to hold and nothing else families need to go through the process. To make John feel comfortable on the growing number of busy days, the center is currently erecting a new 1.5 million dollar home next to their current residence.

"Children should be crying because their toys are broken or lost their Barbie doll," says Andrea Ramos-Topper, driving the retirement community social worker and Regional Director of Education and Relief Corp., Failure nonprofit organization that operates the center. "Children should not be hurt because the cry fixtures."

Ramos-Topper has been managing the center since its inception in October 1997 at the instigation of a full jury report that found the survey questions on beer in 1992 Katie, for fear of reality in which the young girl of 10 years was held in an underground bunker in Bay Shore for more than two weeks. Despite the often harrowing circumstances, she and her small staff to cross swords with the mother of two boys, who is married to an officer of Suffolk County Court of Law, is always happy.
